A TV series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross
In episode 2, Cross tells Sampson that he smells like “mothballs and old spice.” In real life, Isaiah Mustafa appeared in the great Old Spice commercials as “the guy your husband could smell like.” I’ve read a couple of the Alex Cross books, and I thought they were too awful for my taste, even though I thought they were well-written, with good stories and characters.
But the picture is just so dark
Somehow, I found the show more palatable with equally good writing and characters.
It feels like the people in charge of picture quality are at lunch
I have to turn off all the lights in my room and turn the TV to bright mode (I have an LG OLED).
If they fix this, that would be great
The cinematography is great in one way, but in terms of picture brightness, it’s so far from all the other shows that it just throws me off.
