Chronology
1946. Amerigo is seven years old and has never left Naples and his mother, Antonietta. His world of streets and poverty is about to change. Boarding one of the “happy trains”, he spends the winter in the north, where a young woman, Derna, welcomes him and takes care of him. At her side, Amerigo realizes that.
